  • Agencies want to define reusable roles , one of which must be assigned to each administrative login (supporter)

    • Each supporter can be assigned to exactly one role

  • Roles are defined per agency (not per circle or application-wide)

  • A role is derifed from a "view level" of either "Circle Administrator", "Agency Administrator" or "Company Administrator" which directly derives how much data is available to the role.

    • Based on this view level, certain access rights may be given (or stripped away)

      E.g: A Company Administrator will nerver be able to access agency data or data residing outside of their designated company, but may be given access to more or less parts of the company profiles and travelers within these.

 


 

Please note:

 

The support function Administrate Circle is only visible to a Circle administrator.

Home AgencyDefault Agency for the administrator. Circle administrators are able to change the agency if there are multiple agencies in their circle

Administrate circle

In addition to the functions of an agency administrator such a user is able to:

  • Create circle admin profiles
  • Add an agency of the same circle to an agency administrator profile using the "Add. managed agencies" field
  • Administrate all agencies in the particular circle (mostly TMC)
  • Allowed to create/delete new agencies
  • Modify/ configure the whole agency (add/ remove interfaces, change the system settings etc.)

This user has full access to the system of the particular circle and can carry out the same functions as umbrella support

Administrate agencies

In addition to the functions of a company administrator such a user is able to:

  • Edit the none greyed out fields on the agency
  • Create, edit the agency setup (if the "Can edit agency" box is ticked)
  • Create, edit and delete company profiles (if the "Can create/delete companies" box is checked)
  • Create, edit and delete traveller profiles (if the "Can create/delete companies" box is checked)
  • Has access to the tab "Profile center"

Add. managed agenciesAllocate additional agencies for administration. More agencies can be allocated by clicking "add new". This has to be added to the profile by either Umbrella support, by a circle administrator or an agency administrator who has been assigned the rights to be able to administrate all the agencies in question

Can create/delete companiesAllows to create/delete companies as well as their associated travellers
Administrate companies
  • A company administrator can manage either a single or multiple companies based on activated settings (see below field definitions)
  • An administrator of a "Parent Company" is automatically allowed to manage all the subsidiaries

Managed companies
  • If the "Manage all companies" box is ticked, search field box beneath it is blended out. This allows the user to administrate all companies of the home agency
  • If the user is allowed to only administrate one company then this is entered into the search field. Use the "Add new" button to create extra fields to insert more company names in case the user should administrate more than one company
Can edit company

Allows to edit the company profile.

 

Can create/delete travellersAllows to create/delete travellers

If the fields "Can edit Company" under Administrate companies is activated or "Can create/delete companies" under Administrate agencies is deactivated then administrator can only modify/edit the following fields in the company profile:

  • Street
  • Street 2
  • ZIP
  • Place
  • Country
  • Phone
  • Fax
  • Email, Email2, Email3
  • E-Mail invoice delivery
  • Generic fields "my agency" with READ_WRITE and/or COMPANY ONLY


Read-only Accessallows only Read-mode (the user can therefore not edit anything in Faces)
Profile Reminders
It is only visible if the module Profile Reminder has been activated on the agency under System Settings
This field indicates if the administrator wants to be informed of any expired profile data of his associated traveller profiles.
  • none = no Reminders
  • Travellers without Credentials = Profile Reminders for Traveller without any credentials
  • All = Profile Reminders for all Profiles incl. Travellers with and without credentials
